EX Squared is hiring an Architect, IT Infrastructure (Azure Cloud) (Remote - US)

Jobgether is looking for an Architect, IT Infrastructure (Azure Cloud) to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our enterprise cloud environment. In this remote role, you will modernize internal systems, drive cloud-first initiatives, and ensure secure, scalable, and highly available solutions. You will provide technical leadership on migrations, cloud-native technologies, and automation.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Azure cloud infrastructure to meet business requirements.
• Lead cloud strategy, governance, and migration planning for internal IT systems.
• Provide subject matter expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, and automation.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards, policies, diagrams, and documentation.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams for solution integration and cloud-native deployments.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, propose enhancements, and execute improvements.
• Support Azure Gov Cloud tenants and landing zones using best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Drive automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery processes.
• Mentor team members and contribute to strategic planning, pre-sales support, and proof of concept initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• At least 3 years focused on Microsoft Azure architecture, design, and delivery.
• Demonstrated success with large-scale Azure implementations, migrations, hybrid environments, and cloud-native solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services including Virtual Networks, Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in cloud governance frameworks: RBAC, cost management, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, automation, and monitoring in cloud environments.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, C#, Java, or Python.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
• Proven leadership and mentorship abilities, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure Architect certification highly preferred.
• Experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical presentations is a plus.
