In this influential role, you will drive strategic alignment, lead high-impact initiatives, and act as a change agent for process improvement and business agility.
What You'll Do
- Lead projects and initiatives through technical expertise.
- Act as a trusted partner to business senior leaders by providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and support.
- Drive technical thought-leadership and advocate for new methodologies that enable business agility and operational excellence.
- Contribute to the business unit's vision and strategies, translating vision to solutions while balancing risk, investment needs, and fit for purpose.
- Promote open communication that welcomes information sharing, seeks input, and values diverse viewpoints.
- Nurture a strong internal network across the business unit to foster a culture of trust, inclusion, engagement, and integrity.
- Drive cross-team solutions by anticipating and addressing problems ahead of the need and acting as a key influencer across business units.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience.
- Relevant certifications and/or licenses.
- 12+ years in related function(s).
- 5-7 years of experience leading through mentorship in a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience driving thought leadership and innovation across products.
- Experience leading cross-functional and/or global initiatives from start to finish.
- Advanced knowledge of business acumen and a deep understanding of the business implications of decisions.
- In-depth understanding of company values, mission, vision, and strategic direction.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GM Financial’s business operations.
- Recognition as an expert across the business unit.
- Advanced relationship management skills and ability to influence others to achieve results.
- Proven skills in providing leadership through mentorship, influence, inspiration, collaboration, and teamwork.
