About the Role

The Accounts Receivable and Revenue Specialist will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition, and maintaining financial records. This role involves collaborating with various departments to streamline financial operations and improve overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in accounts receivable and revenue management. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application.
  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Maintain financial records and generate reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and improve overall efficiency.
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts receivable and revenue management.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to the finance team in various projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to accounts receivable and revenue management.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support financial operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to accounts receivable and revenue management.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual audits and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on accounts receivable and revenue management processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and records.
  • Support the finance team in various administrative tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
