Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive cloud architectures spanning applications, infrastructure, networking, security, identity, and integrations across Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Develop standardized cloud reference models, landing zones, and platform templates in line with enterprise policies and industry benchmarks.
- Create hybrid and multi-cloud designs with attention to connectivity, identity federation, and workload mobility.
- Ensure all solutions fulfill non-functional criteria including scalability, fault tolerance, availability, security, and performance efficiency.
- Lead the development and deployment of cloud platforms and workloads, providing hands-on support to engineering teams when necessary.
- Support application modernization efforts such as rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and cloud-native development.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Visual Studio, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and C# programming languages.
- Show experience in building RESTful APIs, microservices, system integrations, and working with data formats like XML and JSON.
- Promote the use of platform-as-a-service, container technologies, Kubernetes, and serverless computing models.
- Provide technical direction during project delivery, maintaining architectural consistency from concept through implementation.
- Design and oversee cloud infrastructure components including compute, storage, networking, identity and access management, security, and monitoring capabilities.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, or similar technologies.
- Establish DevSecOps practices and automated CI/CD pipelines for both applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure operational preparedness through monitoring, logging, backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and cost management.
- Define enterprise-wide integration and API strategies, including event-driven and message-based system designs.
- Design integrations using Azure services like API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid, along with equivalent GCP tools.
- Implement secure and scalable integration patterns connecting SaaS, PaaS, legacy, and on-premises systems.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and industry standards, particularly within Retail and Utilities sectors.
- Work with security teams to apply Zero Trust principles, IAM policies, network security, encryption, and compliance measures.
- Participate in architecture governance, standards development, and design review processes.
