Responsibilities
- Deploy, set up, update, and manage instances of Keycloak or Single Sign-On solutions built by Red Hat
- Apply software engineering practices to operational environments
- Ensure system reliability aligns with internal and external user expectations
- Use systems and software design principles to create scalable, distributed, and resilient infrastructure
- Build APIs leveraging Red Hat platform tools and services
- Create, implement, and oversee data workflows based on Kafka
- Analyze and resolve technical issues in Kafka-driven applications
- Join a rotating on-call schedule across global teams to deliver continuous production support and respond to critical customer incidents
- Follow sustainable incident management practices with post-incident reviews that focus on learning, not blame
- Support technology areas such as microservices, API governance, high-performance architectures, DevOps practices, application deployment, and containerized continuous delivery using OpenShift
- Collaborate with internal teams and open source contributors to build innovative software that accelerates customer transformation
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, applying analytical thinking to solve complex challenges creatively
- Mentor team members in both technical expertise and soft skills
- Maintain hands-on coding throughout projects and retain advanced knowledge of container platforms, application frameworks, system design, and development tools
- Assist pre- and post-sales teams during workshops, proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot programs, and live deployments
