Anthology Careers is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Product Development organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering industry-leading SaaS products and web service platforms for the Blackboard LMS in an agile environment. You will design and build backend microservices and front-end applications, collaborating with a team to create new features and enhance development efficiency through AI.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate in the development of backend microservices using Java
- Develop the front end using technologies like AngularJS, React, or similar
- Work with AI technology to enhance development efficiency and create new features
- Deliver high-quality SaaS products and web service platforms
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of experience designing, writing, and deploying scalable software
- Hands-on experience with the Java stack, web application development in Angular or React, and SQL databases
- Excellent Object-Oriented design and coding skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Ability to work with a team of engineers on cross-functional agile projects
- An understanding of data structures, algorithm analysis, and design skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-based hosting solutions (AWS)
