Lime is looking for an Android Engineer to build and scale our Android app to millions of users. You will be responsible for solving strategic technical problems, architecting foundational platforms, and leading new product initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms.
- Lead new product initiatives and revamp core application experiences.
- Scrutinize and reason clearly about technology and architecture choices.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
- Mentor new hires and junior engineers on the team and identify and develop future leaders.
- Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements.
- Contribute to shaping overall engineering culture at the company.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of industry professional software development experience.
- A track record of building impactful products or systems.
- Strong background and proven leadership in mobile development.
- Dynamic, driven and hands-on, yet capable to multitask across functions.
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and services.
- Passionate about Lime's mission and micro mobility.

You will work with a talented group of engineers, data scientists, designers, and PMs.
