NeuraFlash, Part of Accenture, is hiring an Android Core Platform Engineer. In this senior role, you will design, develop, and optimize in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) features on Android Automotive OS (AAOS). You will collaborate with architects, system engineers, hardware teams, and UX specialists to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions for connected vehicles.
What You'll Do
- Develop and customize AAOS features and system services across domains such as Wireless/BT, DGI, Camera, or Display.
- Integrate solutions across system layers in cooperation with hardware, architecture, and UX teams.
- Debug and profile issues at Framework, HAL, and service layers using tools like Logcat, Systrace, Perfetto, and DLT Viewer.
- Contribute to custom Android system services, IVI features, and platform enhancements.
- Ensure performance, stability, maintainability, and security of delivered components.
- Stay up to date with AOSP/AAOS evolution and support platform migrations and upgrades.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimations, and technical discussions.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of Android development experience, including 3+ years with Android Automotive OS.
- Strong Android Platform expertise with Kotlin, Java, and C/C++.
- Deep understanding of Android internals: Framework, System Services, HAL, Binder, AIDL/HIDL.
- Experience in at least one Automotive domain (Wireless/BT, DGI, Camera, Display, or related).
- Hands-on experience with Vehicle HAL, IVI features, and custom system services.
- Strong debugging and performance-profiling skills.
- Knowledge of SOME/IP, MOST, CAN, LIN, and automotive boot flows.
- Working knowledge of SELinux and Android security contexts.
- Experience with Soong, Bazel, Gradle, Git, and Gerrit.
- Strong communication skills and Agile project experience (Scrum, SAFe).
Nice to Have
- Experience with CTS/CDD for Android Automotive.
- Knowledge of power management on automotive Android platforms.
- Familiarity with Car UI Library, GAS integration, or AOSP contributions.
- Exposure to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or cybersecurity standards (UN R155/R156).
- Experience with OTA updates, Android platform migrations, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with ASPICE, QNX, AGL, or proprietary IVI systems.
- Working knowledge of Rust for systems or embedded development.
