About the Role

As an Analytics Engineer, Treasury & Payments, you will play a central role in shaping the data foundation for core banking functions. You'll design and manage end-to-end data pipelines that ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance in financial reporting and fund movement operations. Your work will directly impact how internal teams and regulatory bodies interpret financial activity.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of scalable data pipelines from concept to deployment, supporting complex banking workflows
  • Partner with Payment Operations, Finance, Security, and Technology teams to define precise data needs and reporting requirements
  • Build and maintain high-performance data models that power operational dashboards, audits, and transaction tracking
  • Apply modeling techniques—including event streams, entity tables, and dimensional modeling—to fit specific financial use cases
  • Monitor pipeline reliability, optimize SQL query efficiency, and implement data quality safeguards
  • Improve team capabilities through documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentorship
  • Integrate data across domains to create unified, accurate reporting structures

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a comparable data role
  • Deep proficiency with DBT Core and/or DBT Cloud, including advanced features like incremental models, snapshots, macros, and Jinja templating
  • Strong command of SQL with demonstrated ability to optimize complex queries
  • Hands-on experience with Git and modern data stack tools
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, engineers, and product managers
  • Clear, adaptable communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-driven mindset—able to identify gaps and lead improvements proactively
  • Curiosity about AI tools in development workflows, with experience or strong interest in AI-assisted coding
