In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of HCC codes within patient health information for members enrolled in risk-adjusted health care plans, upholding our commitment to integrity, compassion, and trust.
What You'll Do
- Ensure the accuracy of HCC codes within patient health information for members enrolled in risk-adjusted health plans.
- Work closely with team members, physicians, and leadership to deliver high-quality and accurate risk adjustment coding and analytics.
- Perform HCC coding on projects for ACA risk adjustment and RADV audits using ICD-10 and CPT coding systems while adhering to CMS guidelines.
- Serve as a positive 'Brand Ambassador' within the local community and geographical region.
- Participate in projects as assigned by leadership.
- Work independently in various coding applications and electronic medical records systems to support department and organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma.
- Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) credential through a national organization such as AAPC or AHIMA.
- At least three years of HCC coding and/or billing experience.
Nice to Have
- Five years of HCC coding and/or billing experience.
