TD Canada Trust is hiring an AML Financial Crime Risk Investigator II to join our Core Investigations team. In this role, you will conduct investigative analysis for AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC), and Financial Crime investigations, helping to protect the bank and our customers. You will contribute to our mission to Be the Better Bank and enrich the lives of customers, communities, and colleagues.
What You'll Do
- Conduct investigative analysis by collecting, assessing, and collating case file information for AML, Sanctions/ABAC, and Financial Crime investigations.
- Perform data analysis, manipulation, and interpretation to identify patterns and anomalies.
- Initiate investigations and respond to emerging AML and Sanctions/ABAC risks.
- Assist with reviewing and investigating court orders (subpoenas) related to criminal actions.
- Assist and coordinate investigations with various law enforcement agencies as delegated.
- Prepare and deliver training on AML, Sanctions/ABAC, financial crime, or fraud detection to bank employees or external agencies.
- Lead work streams by acting as a project lead for medium-scale projects using project management methodologies.
- Conduct meaningful reporting and analysis to draw conclusions, make recommendations, and assess program effectiveness.
- Maintain project records and databases, and report on project status to management.
- Monitor service and productivity, implementing continuous process improvements.
- Provide guidance, assistance, and direction to Analysts and Investigators.
- Adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidelines, staying abreast of emerging trends and evolving requirements.

What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in financial crime, AML, or investigations.
