About the Role

Mass General Brigham is looking for an Ambulatory Float Pool Nurse to join the team at Faulkner Hospital. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across four distinct procedural and ambulatory areas, coordinating with all disciplines to ensure defined patient outcomes. This role is central to our mission of exceptional patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

  • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and accurately document nursing care in Endoscopy, Outpatient Infusion, Pain Management, and Interventional Radiology/Nephrology.
  • Coordinate all aspects of nursing care with all disciplines to achieve defined patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrate initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs.
  • Provide appropriate education to patients and families regarding their plan of care.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills when interacting with patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Adhere to all C.A.R.E. and I.C.A.R.E. standards.
  • Show evidence of basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients.
  • Demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities.
  • Function under stress with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate effective skills in applying hospital standards in service, teamwork, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
  • BLS and ACLS certification

Nice to Have

  • Previous procedural/ambulatory nursing experience
