About the Role

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking an Air Cargo Ramp Supervisor to manage, coordinate, and control airport activities for Ramp Services and Passenger Service functions. You will be responsible for overseeing staffing, training, safety compliance, and budgetary controls while ensuring all operational and quality standards are consistently met.

What You'll Do

  • Perform all aspects of airport operations, including ticketing, baggage check-in, issuing boarding passes, and dispatching flights safely and on time.
  • Handle baggage service functions, including filing loss, damage, and pilferage claims.
  • Provide efficient, professional customer service and resolve passenger problems effectively.
  • Coordinate with all operational departments (catering, fueling, maintenance) to ensure needs are met.
  • Act as the company representative when assigned.
  • Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Perform mathematical calculations including rates, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

What We're Looking For

  • An Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off.

  • Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment.
  • Ability to handle stress and work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
