ISHIR, a 25+ year-young IT and Digital Marketing agency, is looking for an AI-Optimized Off-Page SEO & Link Acquisition Specialist to support long-term organic growth and brand authority for global clients. In this role, you will focus on ethical, brand-led, and relevance-driven off-page SEO aligned with Google's evolving algorithms, AI-powered search, and E-E-A-T principles, partnering closely with our content and on-page SEO teams.
What You'll Do
- Execute white-hat, relevance-first link-building campaigns aligned with client industries.
- Identify and secure backlinks through contextual placements, content-led outreach, and digital PR opportunities.
- Focus on brand mentions, co-citations, and entity building rather than low-quality link volume.
- Monitor backlink health and disavow toxic or spammy links when required.
- Manage business listings and citations (Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, industry directories).
- Manage niche listings and industry-relevant directories for SaaS, B2B, healthcare, fintech, and enterprise brands.
- Promote blogs, guides, and assets through blog submission and outreach, PDF/image/video submissions, and social sharing.
- Conduct personalized outreach to bloggers, publishers, and website owners.
- Maintain a clean outreach database and track responses and placements.
- Track backlinks, referring domains, anchor text distribution, and link velocity.
- Monitor impact on rankings, traffic, and visibility using SEO tools.
- Maintain detailed documentation of off-page activities and monthly reports.
- Use AI tools responsibly for prospect research, outreach personalization, and content ideation.
- Conduct SEO audits and fix issues across on-page, technical, and content layers.
- Execute keyword research with clustering and search intent segmentation.
- Recommend and implement meta tags, alt text, schema, and site structure changes.
- Work with development teams or CMS to execute on-page recommendations.
- Conduct link gap analysis, link prospecting, and backlink acquisition using manual and AI-augmented methods.
- Monitor negative SEO or toxic links using AI tools or Google guidelines.
- Research trends and guide content teams with AI-generated prompt briefs.
- Repurpose existing content for SEO and visibility gains (video, snippets, newsletters).
- Identify opportunities in forums, citations, community Q&A, guest blogging, and AI-optimized content distribution.
- Create custom dashboards using GA4, GSC, and Looker Studio.
- Analyze search behavior and conversion patterns; deliver insights for decision-making.
- Use AI tools to summarize reports and automate repetitive analysis.
- Understand email, newsletters, LinkedIn, and organic social as part of the full-funnel strategy.
- Support marketing automation teams in optimizing lead journeys with organic signals.
- Stay ahead of SERP evolution, voice search, local SEO, and Google AI features.
- Understand and support social ads (Meta/LinkedIn), and Google ads.
- Support other paid marketing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of off-page SEO fundamentals and Google link quality guidelines.
- Knowledge of E-E-A-T, entity SEO, brand signals, and co-citation concepts.
- Familiarity with anchor text optimization and natural link profiles.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
- Ability to follow SOPs and quality benchmarks.
- Ethical mindset with zero tolerance for spammy practices.
- Clear written communication for outreach and reporting.
- Comfortable working remotely with global teams and time zones.
- Practicing digital marketer with experience in Indian agencies serving international clients (especially US).
- Comfortable using AI tools to supercharge delivery NOT replace thinking.
- Curious, resourceful, and accountable with a love for research and continuous learning.
- Any graduate or postgraduate degree.
- 1–5 years in agency or performance-focused digital roles.
Nice to Have
- Strong understanding tech/startup businesses is a plus.
- Certifications in SEO, GA4, or AI marketing tools are a bonus.
