The World Bank Group is seeking an AI Solutions Officer to research, develop, and implement advanced Artificial Intelligence solutions that enhance operational efficiency. In this role, you will identify opportunities for AI application, optimize existing models, and integrate AI technologies into our current workflows.
What You'll Do
- Build and enhance core AI platform capabilities including model deployment, serving infrastructure, and API endpoints.
- Implement and maintain integrations across Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI.
- Develop and optimize model deployment pipelines for LLMs, RAG architectures, and generative AI solutions.
- Contribute to reusable components, SDKs, and accelerators that enable teams to leverage enterprise AI platforms.
- Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) and other emerging integration patterns to connect AI models with enterprise data sources.
- Establish and maintain MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines for model deployment, versioning, and rollback.
- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes for model serving.
- Implement automated testing, validation, and quality assurance for AI platform components.
- Monitor platform performance, cost, and usage to identify optimization opportunities.
- Ensure platform security, access controls, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Design and implement platform observability including logging, monitoring, and alerting infrastructure.
- Build dashboards and reporting to track platform health, model performance, and usage patterns.
- Develop automated anomaly detection and incident response capabilities.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of AI platform services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues across the AI infrastructure stack.
- Partner with AI solution teams to understand requirements and translate them into platform capabilities.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling AI/ML platforms in a production environment.
- Proficiency in implementing and managing integrations with major cloud AI services.
- Strong background in developing and optimizing model deployment pipelines for LLMs and generative AI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and rollback strategies.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to implement platform observability, security controls, and automated monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex platform issues.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with solution teams and translate requirements into technical capabilities.
