Xaira Therapeutics is seeking an AI Scientist to join their core AI team in developing state-of-the-art generative AI models for drug discovery and development. The scientist will drive projects that advance AI in biology, working closely with interdisciplinary experts in biology, drug discovery, and clinical development.
What You'll Do
- Initiate and drive new projects that advance the state-of-the-art AI models for biology impacting drug discovery and clinical development
- Work closely with interdisciplinary experts with world-class biology, drug discovery, and clinical expertise
- Be a crucial member of the core AI team comprising highly creative and talented peers
What We're Looking For
- Completed (or within one year of completing) a PhD in an AI or AI-adjacent field
- Prior experience in developing and implementing new deep learning methods
- Track record of AI Innovation demonstrated through publications in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning or projects applying them to interdisciplinary fields
- Excitement to work, learn and teach within a collaborative team working on challenging problems
Nice to Have
- Publications in journals or ML conferences
- Public codebases or contribution to public GitHub repositories
- Industry experience in an AI company, such as an internship or full-time position
- Knowledge or experience in BioAI
- Experience building and training neural networks
- Experience training models across multiple GPUs

Compensation: $120,000 - $240,000 annually, with bonus and equity included.
