Lucidya is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to lead the expansion of our CXM platform into video intelligence and multimodal AI. You will own video AI from concept to production, shape self-hosted LLM deployment, and influence architecture while mentoring the team.
What You'll Do
- Own video AI from concept to production.
- Shape how we deploy and optimize self-hosted LLMs.
- Influence architecture and engineering standards.
- Partner with Product to define a roadmap and execute against it.
- Turn ideas like 'video listening' into deployed, reliable features.
- Design and build end-to-end video analysis pipelines (visual + audio + text).
- Extract sentiment, intent, and semantic meaning from multimodal data.
- Deploy models into secure, production environments.
- Ensure systems survive in production, not just work in a notebook.
- Own and optimize self-hosted LLM infrastructure.
- Manage inference pipelines and performance trade-offs.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems.
- Think beyond model accuracy into cost, latency, and uptime.
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers.
- Review code and influence architecture.
- Bring clarity to technical discussions.
- Push for higher standards when needed.
- Deep dive into existing video capabilities in first 90 days.
- Identify gaps and opportunities.
- Define a clear roadmap with Product.
- Start delivering meaningful improvements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years (Senior) or 7-8+ years (Staff) in Machine Learning.
- Strong depth in Computer Vision.
- Strong depth in Video Analysis.
- Strong depth in Large Language Models.
- Strong depth in Multimodal systems.
- Shipped real systems to production, not just prototypes.
- Own the full lifecycle: modeling, infrastructure, deployment, monitoring.
- Deployed models in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Worked with cloud or on-prem infrastructure.
- Managed performance, scaling, and reliability.
- Hosted LLMs or large models in controlled environments.
- Proactive: propose direction, validate assumptions, move forward, communicate clearly.
- Communicate with extreme clarity.
- Thrive in fast-moving, dynamic environments.

- Experience in B2B SaaS or CX platforms.
- Experience at a recognizable technology brand.
- Arabic multimodal or NLP exposure.
- OCR for Arabic text in video.

Team & Environment
The AI team has strong mid-level and junior engineers. This role has no direct reports but will mentor and influence. You will be reporting to the AI Director. Our culture is fast-paced and dynamic.
