What You'll Do
Lead technical engagements with clients, shaping AI-driven solutions through collaborative discovery and clear architectural direction. Turn business challenges into actionable AI use cases, delivering well-reasoned designs that align with long-term goals.
Develop and deploy production-grade AI systems, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, and tool-integrated workflows. Design robust data pipelines and apply MLOps and LLMOps principles to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Integrate responsible AI practices across the development lifecycle, ensuring compliance, security, and ethical considerations are embedded in every solution. Use AI tools actively in your own development process and support peers in adopting these practices effectively.
Guide fellow developers through mentorship and contribute to shared frameworks, reusable components, and architectural standards that elevate team capabilities across projects.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical conversations, communicate trade-offs, and influence solution decisions with stakeholders
- Proven software engineering background using Python or equivalent, with expertise in backend systems, APIs, and cloud-native development (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade applications with maintainability and scalability in mind
- Hands-on work with AI/ML and LLM platforms such as Azure AI or Azure OpenAI, including deployment, serving, and optimization in production
- Familiarity with vector search, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and AI safety mechanisms
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep), observability, and core data engineering concepts
- Understanding of secure coding, GDPR requirements, and principles of responsible AI
- Fluency in both Finnish and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with agentic workflows, vector databases, Databricks, Snowflake, or model serving platforms
- Background in regulated industries such as public sector, finance, or healthcare, particularly in high-security contexts
- Relevant certifications in AI or cloud technologies
