SAP Software Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Developer to join our agile AI development team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying enterprise-grade Agentic AI and machine learning solutions that support SAP’s internal business organizations and drive our technological innovation.
What You'll Do
- Work with a global, agile team of data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and software engineers on Agentic AI solutions across the E2E lifecycle.
- Drive the development process of data science and AI solutions and lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of Agentic AI architectures.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI services and solutions from proof of concept to full enterprise production.
- Execute enterprise-grade LLMOps and MLOps, including continuous integration, delivery, and training for our AI models and Agentic workflows.
- Drive architectural decisions for enterprise-grade AI solutions.
- Ensure reliability, observability, and compliance of deployed AI solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior colleagues to foster AI engineering excellence.
- Keep up-to-date with state-of-the-art algorithms and technologies in Agentic AI and ML, acting as a technical thought leader.
What We're Looking For
- At least a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Multiple years of experience in Python programming and distributed computing frameworks.
- Solid experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructure.
- An enterprise-grade background with a wide range of ML/AI algorithms, statistical models, and ML/AI architectures.
- Advanced coding skills in Python (preferred) or Java, with a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
- Experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django) and microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, MLFlow).
- Experience implementing CI/CD and MLOps pipelines in cloud environments (Azure ML, Databricks, AWS).
- Hands-on experience with data ETL, APIs, and model deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of distributed systems and data platforms for big data.
- Understanding of Agile, SAFe methodologies and collaborative engineering practices.
- Fluent English and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Nice to Have
- Good German language skills.
- Experience with multi-agent or generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI).
- Familiarity with SAP AI Core or SAP BTP.
- Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira).
