Work on cutting-edge 3D computer vision and generative modeling during a 12-week paid internship starting Summer 2026. You'll leverage extensive real estate datasets to adapt 2D and 3D foundation models, develop novel approaches for scene understanding, and prototype machine learning workflows that transition quickly from research to production impact.
What You'll Do
- Advance methods for adapting foundation models using domain-specific visual data
- Design, train, and evaluate 3D vision and generative models, including diffusion-based architectures
- Develop evaluation frameworks and conduct rigorous offline and online experiments
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate AI capabilities into real-world applications
- Document research clearly and share findings through internal presentations and technical reports
- Explore opportunities to publish results at leading AI conferences
Who You Are
You're currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related field, with a strong research background in computer vision or generative modeling. You have hands-on experience with modern deep learning frameworks and a track record of technical innovation.
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face
- Experience in one or more areas: sparse-view 3D reconstruction, camera pose estimation, NeRFs, 3D Gaussian Splatting, or self-supervised representation learning
- Background in 2D, 3D, or video diffusion models
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Interest in publishing at top-tier research venues
Preferred Experience
- Evaluation of generative or agentic systems
- Knowledge of privacy-preserving techniques and responsible AI, particularly as they relate to fairness in housing
