What You'll Do
Design and manage full-cycle 3D data pipelines that support geometric analysis, quality validation, and synthetic data generation. Ensure data flows efficiently from ingestion to delivery, maintaining integrity and performance throughout.
Develop and maintain internal tools for data cleaning, annotation, and visualization using Python and C++. Enhance and support the 3D asset quality monitoring system, with a focus on automation and scalability.
Oversee pipeline operations, integrate data processing solutions, and coordinate scheduling to meet algorithm team requirements. Review external data deliveries and enforce quality standards to ensure timely, reliable dataset provision.
Support the implementation of CI/CD workflows and produce detailed technical documentation, including RFCs and specifications, to ensure clarity and maintainability across systems.
Requirements
- Background in computer graphics or related field with hands-on experience in mesh data formats such as GLB, OBJ, USD, or FBX
- Understanding of core geometric processing concepts including manifold detection, UV unwrapping, topology analysis, and normal vector computation
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with graphics or data processing libraries
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with capability to work with datasets containing tens of millions of elements
- Proven ability to write clear, systematic technical documentation for RFCs and system specs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C++ and CUDA, particularly in optimizing high-performance data indexing or search systems like KNN Graph
- Familiarity with generative AI applied to 3D content and understanding of its foundational methods
- Exposure to big data platforms such as Databricks, or knowledge of vector databases and indexing algorithms
- Project coordination experience with external annotation teams or outsourced data initiatives, including scheduling and communication
- Personal interest in 3D printing, laser engraving, or independent game development
