Honeywell is looking for an Advanced Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Software Development team to perform comprehensive Product and System integration testing for both Hardware and Software components. You will manage testing tasks throughout the entire project lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Work with the Software Development team to perform Product and System integration testing for Hardware and Software.
- Perform testing tasks throughout the project cycle: analyze requirements, develop test plans and cases/scripts, execute tests, create reports, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and escalate problems.
- Work closely with coworkers and other teams to drive product quality.
What We're Looking For
- A BS/MS in Engineering in Automation Control, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of testing and career planning in the testing area.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for writing automated tests.
- Ability to develop test plans based on project schedule and system/product specifications.
- Ability to develop test cases and scenarios based on requirements and designs.
- Skill to investigate and troubleshoot problems.
- Good communication skills with fluency in written and oral English.
- Strong testing project management and organization skills. You must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Nice to Have
- HVAC domain and product knowledge.
- Experience in testing of mechanical products following test standards (IEC, UL, etc.).
