General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking for an Advanced Software Engineer to join its NC3 business segment. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing the next generation of strategic deterrence systems.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
- 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required at time of hire.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- Agile experience or experience with other development methodologies.
- Understanding of or experience with existing NC3 systems, standards, and protocols.
- Familiarity with DevOps-based development and deployment from CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with virtualization and/or containerization such as Hypervisors or Kubernetes.
- Networking skills, including concepts and experience configuring routers and switches.
- Strong understanding of the software development process and core engineering concepts.
Technical Stack
- Software testing methodologies: Unit, Functional, Integration, etc.
- Mainstream IDEs: Visual Studio, JetBrains, etc.
- DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Virtualization and/or containerization: Hypervisors, Kubernetes.
- Networking concepts and configuration.

You will work within a cross-functional team developing critical national security systems.
