The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is hiring an Advanced Software Engineer to lead critical software development and integration initiatives that support our mission of providing a safe, reliable commute and excellent customer service. You will manage requirements, software engineering, and testing activities across complex projects while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Lead requirements management, software engineering, system testing, and acceptance testing activities across all stages for complex software development and integration initiatives.
- Assist with the organization's selection, adaptation, and adoption of new models, methods, and tools.
- Collaborate across parties involved in product, systems, or service design.
- Own high-value services and/or products.
- Lead the definition, documentation, and successful completion of large projects within business objectives and resource constraints.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
Technical Stack
- Salesforce, Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Salesforce declarative automation tools
- DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Salesforce DX)
- Service Cloud, HTML, JavaScript, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Team & Environment
You'll join MTA IT’s Product Development group, working within empowered, multi-functional teams focused on end-to-end management of development products. You will report to the Director, Product Development – Customer Experience IT Products.
