Temple Health is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for our Neurology department. In this outpatient role, you will be essential in delivering comprehensive medical care and coordinating care for patients across clinical specialties, working closely with licensed physicians and healthcare teams.
What You'll Do
- Deliver comprehensive medical care and care coordination across clinical specialties in collaboration with licensed physicians and healthcare teams.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, prescribe medical therapeutics, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans, assist in surgical procedures, and counsel patients on preventive care.
- Contribute to a safe, therapeutic, and inclusive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care, respecting each individual's background and culture.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing (for NP) or Bachelor's Degree (for PA).
- Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program (for NP).
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (for PA).
- CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner or NCCPA - Certified Physician Assistant.
- RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License or MPA-LIC - PA Medical Physician Asst Lic.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
Nice to Have
- 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner or 4 years experience as a physician assistant.
- 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice.
- 1 year outpatient/ambulatory experience.
- Experience in an EPIC environment.
