Dandy is looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to build and scale manufacturing processes that create industry-leading dental products. You will be a key member of the advanced manufacturing team, driving the development of new machines and processes to fuel company growth.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with 3rd party integrators and internal engineering teams to scale R&D solutions into high-volume production processes
- Drive process development work to quickly solve problems and optimize for cost, quality, and efficiency
- Participate in FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, and other commissioning activities
- Write machine specifications, evaluate proof of concept systems, and engage in conceptual machine design
- Develop process DOEs and perform root cause analysis
- Develop, validate, and document manufacturing process improvements including automation, equipment utilization, and fixture design
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, product development, or R&D
- Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), process development, and equipment design
- General knowledge of plastics manufacturing and processing methods (thermoforming, injection molding, CNC machining, spray finishes)
- Demonstrated ability to drive the design and development of manufacturing equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
