Honeywell is looking for an Advanced Field Service Engineer to join our Industrial Automation business unit. In this role, you will provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise directly to our customers, troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. You will have a direct impact on the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations.
What You'll Do
- Keep customers informed on technical notifications and advise on recommended corrective actions.
- Issue monthly reports to customers on activities and system health as per Reporting Guidelines.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, advising on new technology or services that add value.
- Assist with driving awareness for breakthrough initiatives.
- Work with Solution Architect to maintain the Automation Plans.
- Provide technical leadership for the maintenance service contract/project.
- Provide technical coordination and planning.
- Define the required deliverables as per the GPM.
- Work with Field Operations Manager/Service Contract Manager to develop the schedule.
- Ensure deliverables quality and accuracy.
- Proactively drive the delivery/schedule, managing the customer and team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain the data and prepare as well as drive the project gate reviews as per Honeywell GPM practices.
- Pro-actively engage and inform the FOM/SCM of resource requirements.
- Drive all technical issues as liaison with TAC to ensure successful conclusion.
- Pro-actively manage risks and opportunities, keeping the FOM/SCM informed.
- Maintain an accurate cyber-database of the installed base by updating the repository.
- Perform or ensure cyber-preventative maintenance tasks are completed on time.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years experience as senior Field Service Engineer.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in field service maintenance engineering.
- Minimum certification L3 TPS, EPKS & OPM.
- Engineer (Project environment) with commissioning and SAT experience.
- Minimum 2 years with virtualization experience such as VMware.
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer/electrical related field such as Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, electronics/electrical.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in industrial cyber security.
- Linux/Windows Security Basics.
- Experience performing audits/assessments.
- Process Control system design/implementation.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve complex network, application, or system integration issues.
Nice to Have
- CCNI and Cybersecurity certification is a distinct advantage.
- CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional or similar security certification.
- CISCO Certified Network/Design/Security Professional (at least one).
