Penn State University is hiring an Administrative Assistant for its Corporate Engagement Center (CEC), a collaborative unit between the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. You will provide crucial administrative support to leadership, assist with meeting and event planning, process philanthropic gifts, and manage day-to-day office operations.
What You'll Do
- Act as assistant to the Assistant Vice President and CEC Directors, providing support for scheduling, travel arrangements, and expense reconciliation.
- Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, through excellent informal and formal communications.
- Assist with meeting and event planning and execution, including logistics and note-taking.
- Manage staff meeting scheduling, note-taking, and the office calendar.
- Process and document philanthropic and corporate gifts and support research financial needs.
- Greet and direct visitors, and manage inquiries from the CEC website and central email account.
- Reserve fleet vehicles.
- Maintain office supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination.

- Experience with Ellucian Advance, Salesforce, or other CRM software.

- Experience with SAP Concur for expense processing.
- Experience with financial transaction processing software.
- Experience with adhering to policies and procedures.

Team & Environment
You will be part of the Corporate Engagement Center (CEC), a collaboration between the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research and the Division of Development and Alumni Relations. You will report to the Constituent Programming and Events Officer, CEC, and work closely with the Assistant Vice President of Corporate Engagement and the CEC Directors.

- Compensation: $38,300.00 - $55,500.00
