Johnson County Community College is hiring an Adjunct Assistant Professor to teach college-level sociology courses. Our mission is to inspire learning that transforms lives and strengthens communities. In this role, you will deliver in-person instruction on weekdays at our main campus.
What You'll Do
- Teach college-level coursework in Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and Sociology of Families.
- Collect and submit assessment data, as required by the department and the College.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's degree in Sociology or a closely-related field.
- College-level teaching experience.
Nice to Have
- A PhD in Sociology or a closely-related field.
- Community College teaching experience.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position based at our campus in Overland Park, Kansas. You must be available for in-person classes on weekdays.
