Achieve is seeking a Sr. Staff Data Engineer to be a key technical leader in our data organization. You will architect, build, and scale the foundational data platforms that power our financial services and analytics.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
- Lead the architectural vision for data systems, ensuring high reliability, performance, and data quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions
- Establish and champion engineering best practices, standards, and documentation
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers on the team
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering
- Proven track record of architecting and operating large-scale, distributed data platforms
- Deep expertise in modern data stack technologies for processing, storage, and orchestration
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
