Valvoline Global Operations is looking for an Accounts Payable and General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. This role demands accountability, strong organization, and a readiness to collaborate with various teams across the organization in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage the general ledger
- Enter and process incoming invoices within the ERP system's financial module
- Reconcile and align accounts with suppliers
- Provide support in coordinating workflow with different internal teams for the timely and accurate processing of invoices
- Collaborate with banks
- Prepare bank guarantees, promissory notes, and accompanying documentation
- Prepare documentation for excise tax refunds
- Enter standard items as part of the monthly closing process
- Ensure compliance with group reporting, local legal requirements, and SOX regulations
What We're Looking For
- Education Level: IV – economic orientation
- Foreign Language Knowledge: English
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 3 years
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the same or similar roles
- Experience using and implementing ERP systems (Oracle, SAP)
- Knowledge of the e-invoicing system portal (SEF)
- Knowledge of VAT law
- Intermediate level knowledge in Excel as a minimum
