Gartner, Inc. is looking for an Accounting Process & AI Technology Expert to provide research and advisory services to global clients. You will help CFOs and Corporate Controllers transform their financial reporting systems by leveraging AI and automation, creating must-have insights through published research and direct client interaction.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a subject matter expert for transforming controllership processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the financial close.
- Guide clients on using AI and automation techniques to drive processing efficiency and strategic outcomes for the office of the CFO.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced analysts to build authoritative research and advice on the impact of AI and automation on the controllership function and vendor selection.
- Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based client presentations and discussions.
- Stay ahead of developments and issues in accounting technologies and processes, as well as adjacent areas like finance technology and transformation strategy.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience leading accounting teams supporting record-to-report processes in large multinational organizations.
- Demonstrated experience transforming financial close and accounting processes.
- Strong knowledge of various accounting automation vendors and technologies, including ERPs.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- Ability to conduct occasional regional and global travel.
Nice to Have
- CPA or equivalent certification.
- Master’s degree.
- Prior experience with speaking engagements.

You will join a collaborative team of highly experienced analysts within the Gartner Finance Practice.
