As an Accounting Analyst at Nascent, you'll sit at the center of how the business runs, shaping systems and standards. You'll own the integrity of the books across fiat and digital assets, turning messy data into reliable systems and automating processes.

What You'll Do

Own the books across fiat and crypto, running full-cycles from wallet/exchange to ledger to reporting.
Turn messy data into reliable systems by partnering with engineering and operations to architect workflows and controls.
Be the source of financial truth, keeping reconciliations, ledgers, and documentation crisp and audit-ready.
Automate what doesn't need to be manual using integrations, smart tools, or lightweight scripting.
Hunt down issues before they become problems, propose solutions, and drive improvements through to implementation.
Support the ongoing improvement of Nascent's crypto accounting system, contributing to infrastructure for wallet activity, reconciliations, and reporting.

What We're Looking For

5-6 years in accounting, audit, or financial operations.
Formal accounting training (CPA track or equivalent) with fundamentals in close cycles, compliance, and day-to-day bookkeeping.
High digital fluency, especially with AI-driven workflows and modern analytics tools.
Proven ability to operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, adapting quickly and keeping momentum.

Nice to Have

Time spent at a Big 4 firm, operating inside complex financials, tight timelines, and high standards for accuracy.
Familiarity with crypto accounting or digital asset workflows.
Experience contributing to or building bespoke financial software.
Background in lean teams or startup environments where speed, ownership, and adaptability matter.
