About the Role
We're hunting for an Accountant based in India to remotely support our expanding Accounting Team in the United Kingdom.
Mission: Deliver top-tier accounting services to a portfolio of UK clients.
Outcomes:
- Support the Client Manager in delivering high-quality accounting services for SME clients, including bank reconciliations, fixed asset tracking, journal entries, and financial report preparation
- Preparing Unaudited Financial Statements, VAT quarterly submissions, and providing payroll support
- Understand and meticulously adhere to UK financial regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants on technical specifications
Requirements
- Recognised degree/diploma in Accountancy
- At least 3 years of UK Accounting experience
- Good understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance
- Highly proficient in Excel, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks, additional software advantageous
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, proactive and self-driven, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be at least business proficient in English

- To keep things moving, we might request these conversations earlier in the process
Requirement for background screening
As a regulated entity, Sleek conducts varying levels of background checks depending on the role.
This may involve external vendors verifying:
- Your education
- Any criminal history
- Any political exposure
- Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history
We'll request your consent before these checks. Depending on your role, an adverse result might impact your probation.
