About the Role

Salesforce is hiring an Account Solution Engineer, Public Sector to support the Canadian Federal Government. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business objectives into compelling Salesforce solutions that help clients connect with citizens in new ways.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and lead the entire technical solution cycle in close collaboration with sales, product, and services teams.
  • Understand client needs and establish Salesforce’s products as the best solution for their unique challenges.
  • Develop and deliver innovative custom solutions, including building and presenting customized demos to key decision-makers.
  • Convey a deep understanding of the Federal Government industry and technology landscape.
  • Respond efficiently to RFxs (RFPs, RFIs, ITQs).
  • Design and share reusable assets for the broader Solution Engineering and Sales teams, such as presentations, demos, and videos.
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years combined experience working with Canadian public sector organizations, specifically the Federal Government, and/or with Salesforce solutions.
  • 5+ years of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery, or practical on-the-job experience.
  • Currently holds at least one valid Salesforce certification.
  • At least one relevant Salesforce certification (Administrator, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud) and consulting experience.
  • A good understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its applicability to the Federal Government.
  • Experience as a participant in Digital Transformation strategies and enterprise consulting.
  • Proven oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication and relationship skills.
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to tackle problems in dynamic, energizing environments.

Nice to Have

  • Bilingualism is an asset but not mandatory (French & English).

This role operates in a local-country work mode and is located in Canada.
