Snowflake is hiring an Account Solution Engineer to accelerate customer journeys from acquisition to expansion on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. In this high-impact, cross-functional role, you will be the dedicated technical partner responsible for driving activation, adoption, and the overall technical success of your customer portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Own the technical success and consumption trajectory for your assigned portfolio, driving adoption metrics and serving as a single point of contact.
- Apply an outcome-based mindset to engagements, focusing on how the platform solves complex data challenges and unlocks business value.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor post-sale, guiding data strategy, technology integration, and swift activation of initial use cases.
- Deliver technical value efficiently by leveraging AI-powered development tools and automation to accelerate solution delivery.
- Provide foundational guidance on Architectural Best Practices, Workload Isolation, Warehouse Utilization, Resource Monitoring, Budgeting, and RBAC/Security Setup.
- Collaborate with the Account Team to highlight risks and build trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners for seamless resource orchestration.
- Create and deliver high-impact programs like Hands-on Labs and webinars to educate customers on platform features and industry practices.
- Serve as a key feedback loop to Product Management and Engineering teams to influence future development.
- Triage a broad array of customer inquiries, assisting with demos, troubleshooting, and identifying expansion opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience with SQL is required.
- Strong foundational understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and core concepts of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- A strong desire to learn, grow your technical skills, and become an expert in the Snowflake platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and use Project Management skills to drive customers to an agreed-upon timeline.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience in a technical role.
Nice to Have
- SnowPro Core certification.
- Proficiency in additional coding languages, particularly Python, Java, or Scala, in a data or application development context.
- Experience with modern data technologies (e.g., CI/CD tooling, orchestration tools) or a basic understanding of Data Science concepts.
- Prior experience or strong interest in leveraging AI-powered development tools and coding agents to increase solution delivery efficiency.
