Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact. As a Software Engineer II at YouTube, you will work on a specific project critical to Google’s needs, focusing on protecting YouTube creators from impersonation.
What You'll Do
- Design and build solutions to protect YouTube creators from impersonation.
- Work on machine learning models to improve the team's ability to prevent and detect impersonation abuse.
- Develop infrastructure to run models in real time on YouTube to take action against potentially abusive actors.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience implementing core ML concepts.
- 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
Nice to Have
- Experience in C++, ML, and SQL.
- Experience launching solutions that leverage LLM capabilities.
