At DXC Technology, the Account Project Lead (APL) serves as the strategic anchor for all project delivery across a key customer or portfolio. You will own delivery outcomes end-to-end, from early solution design through to operational handover, acting as a trusted advisor to the customer and a key partner to Account Leadership.
What You'll Do
- Own the successful end-to-end delivery of all projects across your assigned customer account.
- Serve as the single point of contact for project delivery to both Account Leadership and the customer.
- Oversee daily project execution to ensure scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets are consistently met.
- Manage project resources—people, partners, and services—to optimise delivery performance.
- Govern the project portfolio and lead escalation processes when needed.
- Ensure full compliance with project management methodologies, tools, and governance standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in productivity, quality, and delivery excellence.
- Manage project profitability, forecasting, and financial reporting with accuracy and transparency.
- Partner with Account Leadership to support account growth and maximise delivery-driven revenue opportunities.
- Oversee smooth handover of projects into the operational (RUN) environment.
- Provide holistic reporting across financials, contract performance, quality, productivity, and labour footprint.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership and exceptional people management skills.
- A deep understanding of enterprise operations and complex customer ecosystems.
- Broad IT operations knowledge and familiarity with enterprise service delivery.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
- Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Strong financial acumen with experience driving project profitability.
- Ability to define roles and accountability across diverse stakeholders.
- A track record of building trusted customer relationships and serving as a delivery advisor.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex project portfolios in large enterprise environments.
- Experience managing financials, contracts, and commercial outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Familiarity with structured delivery governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting account growth and contributing to delivery-led expansion initiatives.
Team & Environment
This role is a key member of the Account Leadership Team. You will collaborate closely with the Account Customer Partner (CP), Architecture, Service Relationship Management (SRM), and Build teams.
