About the Role
The Account Director will manage key laboratory collaboration accounts, driving revenue growth by building and maintaining strategic partnerships, identifying expansion opportunities, and aligning service offerings with client needs across a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Lead the management of strategic laboratory collaboration accounts
- Develop and execute account growth strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Build and sustain executive-level relationships with key laboratory partners
- Identify new business opportunities within existing collaboration networks
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor service solutions for partner needs
- Drive contract negotiations and renewals with laboratory organizations
- Monitor account performance and implement corrective actions when needed
- Serve as primary point of contact for high-value collaboration partners
- Analyze market trends to inform account planning and expansion
- Present value propositions to laboratory decision-makers
- Ensure alignment between partner goals and service delivery capabilities
- Coordinate cross-functional support for onboarding and integration
- Track and report on key account metrics and performance indicators
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic industry developments
- Support the development of partnership success case studies
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and laboratory stakeholders
- Address partner concerns and ensure high satisfaction levels
- Travel regularly to meet with clients and internal teams
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences
- Promote consistent use of diagnostic service platforms among partners
- Work with legal and compliance to ensure agreement adherence
- Contribute to long-term partnership strategy development
- Align sales activities with regulatory and operational standards
- Support training initiatives for partner-facing teams
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all account interactions
