The Walt Disney Company is seeking a 2026 Summer Internship - Show Technical candidate to join the Design and Show Quality Team at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside industry experts supporting technical streams to create world-class guest experiences.

What You'll Do

Support designers on troubleshooting, fixing show defects, and updating issue status in the tracking system.
Assist designers in identifying appropriate equipment and system specifications per show quality requirements.
Support show quality reviews by collecting field data, documenting observations, and helping prepare review reports and presentations.
Participate in developing physical and digital mock-ups for creative concept studies and contribute innovative solutions for show element improvements.
Coordinate with designers, technicians, vendors, and the maintenance team on defect follow-up, maintenance, setup, testing, and documentation of technical issues.
Support designers and supervisors with other ad hoc duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Current university students graduating in or after 2026.
Majoring in Art Design, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Network, or relevant disciplines in Engineering, Controls, Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or IT communications.
Energetic, strong team players with a passion for Disney.
Excellent command of English and Chinese, including spoken Cantonese and Putonghua.
Have the right of abode in Hong Kong SAR and availability for overnight work if required.
Must be available for a full-time internship for three consecutive months between May and August 2026.

Nice to Have

Sensitivity to lights, color, or sound.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Maya, Blender, SketchUp, Rhino, or ZBrush.
Experience with AutoCAD, projector mapping, lighting design or control, Qsys programming, SMAART, soldering, and programming.
Previous work experience at Disney theme parks.
