More Staffing LLC is hiring a YouTube Thumbnail Designer to create high-impact, algorithm-optimized thumbnails. Your work will help creators and brands stand out through strategic visual design and storytelling that drives viewer engagement.

What You'll Do

Design 3 distinct thumbnails per video to enable effective A/B testing.
Translate video content into clear, clickable, high-converting thumbnails.
Use high-resolution video stills from footage to craft compelling thumbnails.
Apply strong visual hierarchy and bold design choices with a maximum of 3 key elements per thumbnail.
Collaborate with producers and editors to align on tone, mood, and genre.
Iterate and refine designs based on YouTube Studio performance metrics like CTR.
Stay current on YouTube design and algorithm trends to maintain relevance.
Mimic diverse styles, including fast-paced Gen Z edits to polished creator formats.

What We're Looking For

A strong portfolio showcasing YouTube thumbnails or equivalent high-CTR visual content.
Proficiency in Photoshop or equivalent software for advanced image manipulation.
Deep understanding of YouTube logic, design psychology, and how thumbnails impact video performance.
Ability to design in various styles and adapt based on audience and genre.
Clear understanding of CTR, layout, and design for engagement, not just aesthetics.
Ability to take briefs and execute with precision, speed, and discipline.
A self-motivated creative executor with the potential to evolve into a strategic thought partner.

Nice to Have

Prior experience designing thumbnails for high-performing YouTube channels.
Strong instincts for visual storytelling and split-testing effectiveness.
