As a Youtube Creative Assistant, you'll dive into a world of video magic, transforming raw footage into compelling stories that captivate audiences. Responsibilities • Edit raw video footage into killer YouTube content that nails the brand's identity (think 1-hour journalism and documentary-style videos). • Jazz up videos with graphics, text overlays, B-roll, music, and sound effects that amp up storytelling and viewer engagement. • Perform precision colour correction and audio mixing to deliver a pro-level final product. • Design thumb-stopping YouTube thumbnails that scream "click me!" while accurately representing the video content. • A/B test thumbnail designs to squeeze out maximum performance. • Keep your finger on the pulse of video trends and YouTube best practices to continuously boost engagement. • Transform long-form video content into snappy short-form videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. • Whip up simple, on-brand graphics for social media posts (announcements, quotes, snippets). Requirements • Proven video editing chops, with a portfolio that speaks volumes (long-form YouTube video examples = major bonus). • Pro-level skills in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Davinci Resolve. • Deep understanding of YouTube and how to optimize video edits and thumbnails. • Bonus points for short-form content creation experience. • Self-starter who can manage time like a boss and crush deadlines. • Own computer/laptop and rock-solid internet connection. • Top-tier English communication and collaboration skills.
