As a working student in IT-Cyber Security, you'll play an active role in maintaining and improving the organization's security posture. You'll handle daily cybersecurity tickets, monitor threats using SIEM tools like Microsoft Sentinel, and assist in responding to security incidents. Your contributions will support ongoing vulnerability assessments and the tracking of remediation efforts to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and resolve routine cybersecurity support requests
- Support real-time security monitoring and incident detection activities
- Assist with evaluating system vulnerabilities and verifying fixes
- Help manage identity controls, including multi-factor authentication and conditional access policies
- Contribute to reviewing technical security policies and compliance documentation
- Research current threat landscapes to inform internal awareness efforts
- Collaborate with IT and security teams on endpoint protection and patch management
- Take ownership of defined project tasks and related communications
Qualifications
You're currently enrolled in a university program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with a clear interest in cybersecurity. You bring foundational knowledge of security principles, practical experience with MS Office, and strong written and spoken English skills (C1 level). You're eager to learn, comfortable in fast-moving environments, and able to commit at least 10 hours per week while based in Munich.
