Responsibilities
- Develops, sets up, and validates reports and dashboards in alignment with business process needs across various Workday modules.
- Evaluates current reporting tools and implements enhancements to improve efficiency and usability.
- Drives standardization and continuous improvement of reporting structures with an emphasis on streamlined design.
- Identifies potential issues early and escalates risks, proposing alternative technical strategies when needed.
- Promotes data fluency and encourages data-informed decision-making within Workday user groups.
- Ensures high data integrity within Workday and supports the distribution of accurate, actionable insights.
- Evaluates potential risks related to data retention and storage practices.
- Resolves complex, escalated support cases in reporting and compensation management.
- Assists in configuring and validating compensation functionalities in coordination with technical and functional leads.
- Collaborates with compensation stream leadership during requirement definition, ensuring compliance with established Workday guidelines.
- Examines incoming requests critically, assessing their validity and potential impact across multiple functional areas.
- Builds, configures, and tests technical solutions within the Workday Compensation module.
- Analyzes current workflows and recommends data-backed improvements for greater effectiveness.
- Trains Workday user communities and leadership on new reporting features and contributes to internal training materials.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Workday’s reporting and compensation release roadmap and new functionalities.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in Workday reporting, with strong understanding of system capabilities, integrations, and future developments.
- Guides junior team members and shares expertise to enhance team-wide reporting independence.
- Engages with external collaborators and builds relationships with Workday and peer client organizations.
