About the Role

iRhythm Technologies is hiring a Workday HRIS Specialist III to serve as the subject matter expert for our Workday Absence, Payroll, and Benefits modules. In this role, you will configure and maintain business processes, ensure accurate data processing, and support compliance and regulatory reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Absence, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
  • Configure and maintain business processes, eligibility rules, accruals, pay inputs, benefit events, and related components in Workday.
  • Ensure accurate setup and timely processing of benefits enrollment events and payroll-impacting data.
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements related to benefits and payroll.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Manage and execute system updates, testing cycles, and new feature enablements in Workday.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to HR, Payroll, and Benefits teams, resolving system issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Perform audits and validations to ensure data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to Absence, Payroll, and Benefits using Workday Report Writer.
  • Collaborate with integration partners and vendors to ensure smooth data flow between Workday and external systems.
  • Document configurations, testing scripts, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior team members on module-specific tasks and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  • Proven experience supporting Workday Absence, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
  • Deep understanding of Workday Absence rules and accruals, payroll inputs and validations, and benefits eligibility and event processing.
  • Proficiency in Workday report writing, calculated fields, and EIBs.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Workday integrations, such as PECI or EDI for benefits carriers.
