Join Sigma Software as a WordPress Developer to build robust, scalable solutions on WordPress CMS. You will join a dedicated team working on creative landing pages, corporate websites, and complex technical projects like plugin and application development.

What You'll Do

Code, develop integration tests, debug, document, implement, and maintain portions of software.
Promote good design principles, such as code reuse, modularity, and extensibility.
Assist test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation.
Perform code reviews for compliance with the best engineering practices, coding standards, and quality criteria set forth on the project.
Continuously participate in technical risk identification and analysis, immediately notify the project manager of new risks identified, and suggest a mitigation strategy.
Report status and progress according to the project and company requirements.
Contribute to the creation of technical specifications.
Participate in estimation and planning sessions.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress CMS, including themes/plugins development and customization.
Knowledge of the most popular WordPress plugins and practices (cache, security, E-commerce, etc.).
Solid experience with MySQL (MariaDB).
Solid experience with popular web server configurations (Apache, nginx).
Good knowledge of Docker and the Linux ecosystem.
Ability to find narrow places and fix them through profiling, performance increases, and analysis.
Experience with Git and GitFlow.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
Upper-Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

Good Front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js).
Knowledge of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
Knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
