Inkwood Research is hiring a part-time WordPress and Social Media Executive. This remote role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in content management, social media marketing, and SEO who wants to grow their skills while maintaining work-life balance. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive remote team.
What You'll Do
- Upload and format content including blog posts, pages, images, and multimedia to WordPress.
- Maintain website functionality and ensure optimal user experience.
- Update plugins, themes, and perform routine website maintenance.
- Implement basic on-page SEO best practices.
- Monitor website performance and loading speeds.
- Create and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms.
- Upload and optimize images, videos, and graphics for different platforms.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages.
- Track social media metrics and prepare basic performance reports.
- Research and implement relevant keywords in website content.
- Optimize meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags.
- Create SEO-friendly URL structures.
- Monitor search engine rankings and traffic.
- Assist with link building and content optimization strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience with WordPress content management.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with content scheduling tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with image editing tools like Canva or Photoshop.
