Gate is looking for a Web3 QA Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of our blockchain and cryptocurrency exchange products. You will be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our decentralized technology and services.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive testing for blockchain projects and mainstream nodes.
- Test RPC node stability and accuracy, and troubleshoot related issues.
- Perform risk detection for tokens and retrieve data via blockchain explorers.
- Independently manage project testing, oversee the testing process, and proactively manage risks.
- Perform smart contract security audits.
What We're Looking For
- Practical experience with blockchain projects or testing mainstream nodes.
- Blockchain foundation knowledge, including consensus mechanisms and the transaction lifecycle.
- Familiarity with characteristics of popular blockchains, multi-chain features, and smart contract permissions.
- Understanding of gas fee calculation, including standards like EIP-1559.
- Understanding of RPC protocol principles and usage.
- Familiarity with token risk detection logic and blockchain explorer data and block content retrieval.
- Ability to independently undertake project testing, familiarity with testing processes, strong risk control awareness, and self-driven initiative.
Nice to Have
- Experience in smart contract security auditing.
- Experience in adjusting and troubleshooting RPC node issues.
