Serco is looking for a Warehouse Manager Tutor to join our Prison Education team. In this key role, you’ll help learners build confidence, gain new skills, and move towards a more positive future by managing a simulated warehouse workshop and guiding them through Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in warehousing that meet qualification requirements.
- Support learners to achieve their goals while developing confidence and workplace behaviours.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and well‑organised warehouse environment.
- Oversee receiving, storing, and handling a variety of goods within the workshop.
- Enforce all health, safety, and security procedures.
- Work with average class sizes of around 16 learners, ensuring everyone receives the support they need.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in warehousing or a related operational environment.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate others.
- Confidence in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
