Fullmind is hiring a Virtual Extensive Support Needs Educator for the 2024-25 school year. In this fully remote contract role, you will deliver live-streamed instruction via a district virtual platform to students, teaching curriculum and closely collaborating with an in-class facilitator. Fullmind partners with hundreds of U.S. schools to ensure every child has access to education.
What You'll Do
- Teach the school's curriculum on the district virtual platform.
- Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum.
- Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment.
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and relationships.
- Record student progress and keep track of grades and performance.
- Partner with an in-class facilitator who is physically present with students.
- Attend district professional development sessions and faculty meetings.
What We're Looking For
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must currently hold an active, USA state-issued Mild to Moderate Support Needs/Extensive Support Needs California teaching certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must have a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
- Must participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit a background check.
- LiveScan Fingerprinting will be required; must live near a LiveScan location or be willing to drive to one.
Nice to Have
- SEIS knowledge is highly preferred.
- Prior online teaching experience is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
- Daily Rate: $300
- This is a contract position and does not include benefits.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, 1099 contract position for the 2024-25 school year.
